Sharp Sheriff Last Week

Meet Sheriff Rebecca.  Her favorite color is blue and she adores eating corn!  She is awesome in math and loves to go shopping with her mom.  If Sheriff Rebecca could go anywhere in the world she would go to Russia because her family was born there.  Rebecca did an awesome job with her responsibilities and I am so proud of her!  Way to go Rebecca!

Sharp Sheriff this week

Meet Sheriff Kyndsey.  She adores the color blue and loves eating mac-n-cheese!  Sheriff Kyndsey likes to spend her time coloring.  She is awesome in reading!  If Sheriff Kyndsey could go anywhere in the world she would go Disney World because she enjoys the rides.  Sheriff Kyndsey did an incredible job with her responsibilities!  Way to go!

Meet Sharp Sheriff Mark.  Sheriff Mark's favorite color is orange and he loves to eat pizza.  He loves spending his time playing his Xbox.  Sheriff Mark is awesome in Math.  If he could go anywhere in the world he would go to the beach because he wants to go surfing.  Sheriff Mark did a fantastic job!  Way to go!

Meet Sheriff Max.  His favorite color is green and he loves to eat pizza.  He really enjoys studying Math because there are a lot of numbers and he loves numbers.  His favorite activity is playing tag with his friends.  He loves being "it."  If Max could go on vacation anywhere in the world he would go to Disney World because there are a lot of rides.  Max is super smart and did a wonderful job being our Sheriff.

Sheriffs had such a surprise this afternoon!! Ms. Gail Woods, Max's grandma, came and read a very interesting book about being honest.  We so enjoyed her!!

Sharp Sheriff of the Week

Say, "Howdy!" to Sheriff Ismail.  Sheriff Ismail loves the color purple because it reminds him of his sister when she was a baby.  His favorite subject to study is science because he is going to be a inventor when he grows up.  He loves to eat pizza and play tag with his friends. If he could go anywhere in the world he would go to South Africa because he gets to see his cousins. Sheriff Ismail is a wonderful leader and has done an outstanding job!  Way to go!

Spunkin the Class Pumpkin

 We have been doing some exciting activities this week in Sharp Sheriff Country!  We carved our very own pumpkin!  Each Sheriff got to look at the pumpkin "guts" and feel the inside of the pumpkin.  Then we learned some very interesting facts that we turned into informational paragraphs. Last but not least we carved a face into our pumpkin!  We decided to name him Spunkin Pumpkin!  The Sheriffs wrote stories about how Spunkin escaped his pumpkin patch.  Enjoy our funny faces below!!!

Meet Sheriff Dylan.  His favorite color is black because it is a werewolf and black bear color.  He loves studying reading and practices everyday.  His favorite activity is playing chess with his friend next door.  He loves to eat spaghetti and if he could go anywhere in the world he would go to the jungle because it has snakes, monkeys, and all kinds of stuff!  Way to go Sheriff Dylan!

Say, "Howdy!" to Sheriff Steven.  Steven's favorite color is blue and he loves eating spaghetti!  He is really good in Math and studies really hard!  His favorite thing to do is play video games.  If he could go anywhere in the world, Sheriff Steven wants to go to Magic Springs because he has been there before.  Way to go Sheriff Steven!

Sheriffs earn CRAZY SOCK DAY!!!

With our Boosterthon fundraiser we can earn incentives as a class for the pledges that we collect.  My sheriffs were all about this and we earned our first today.  We got to wear CRAZY SOCKS all day long.  The kids were super cute!

Meet Sharp Sheriff Clarke!!  Sheriff Clarke's favorite color is pink and she loves to eat crab legs!  Her favorite subject in school is Science and she loves to play games with her friends.  If Sheriff Clarke could go anywhere in the world she would go to Disney World because she loves the Disney Channel.  Sheriff Clarke is very responsible and is doing wonderful with all of her responsibilities.  Way to go Sheriff Clarke!

We had a guest reader in Sheriff County!!

Oliver's mom came and read to our class today!  It was so wonderful!  She read the book Pinkalicious!  WE LOVED IT!!!!

Meet Sam our Sharp Sheriff of the week!  Sheriff Sam's favorite color is blue and he loves to eat pancakes made by his dad.  He is great with numbers and loves the subject math.  He is so talented when he plays his computer games!  If he could go anywhere in the world, he would go to Disney World because he has never been.  Way to go Sheriff Sam!

Nate is Sharp Sheriff this week.  His favorite color is light red and he loves to eat steak.  He is awesome at sports.  He loves playing baseball the most!  His favorite subject in school is Math.  If he could go anywhere in the world he would go to Chicago because it is a big city. Sheriff Nate is doing an incredible job!

Barrett is Sharp Sheriff of the week!  His favorite color is blue and he loves to eat chicken tenders from Applebee's.  The subject he loves the most is math because he loves addition and learning about number bonds.  His favorite activity is playing basketball with his cousins.  He usually wins!  If he could go on vacation anywhere in the world he would go to Chicago because he has been there before and he has seen the Michael Jordan Stadium!  He is great with every responsibility given to him.  Way to go Sheriff Barrett!

Sharp Sheriffs Show Off Grandparents!

Sharp Sheriffs were able to show their grandparents the poem they wrote, questions that they answered, and were able to do a hand tracing activity with their grandparent.  You can tell by the smiles we had so much fun!

Some Sheriffs had grandparents come later and some grandparents weren't able to make it.  But that didn't get in the way of us having fun!

Clarke made a beautiful craft for her mother instead!  It was awesome!

Grandparents also were given the chance to check out the class blog.  It was a big hit!
