It's Looking Like Christmas in Sharp Sheriff Country!

Frankie the elf made a special visit to our classroom the other day.  We were so excited to meet a real elf!  Check out these precious smiles!  Hope he reports good news to Santa!

Jingle Bell Jutebox Sheriffs!

Our 2nd grade class musical was last week and let me tell you these Sheriffs can sure put on a show!  I was so proud of how well they sang and danced!  It sure isn't easy getting up in front of the whole school and performing, but they did excellent.  Then they went on to perform for the parents!!!  You are awesome Sharp Sheriffs!

Meet Reagan!  Reagan did an excellent job of being Sharp Sheriff!  Her favorite color is blue and she loves eating pizza.  She enjoys playing on her trampoline and she is a whiz at reading!  I am so proud of this girl!  Way to go Reagan!

Everyone say, "Howdy Andrew!"  Andrew was an awesome Sharp Sheriff and did a wonderful job with all of his responsibilities.  He loves the color blue and adores eating pizza.  His favorite game is football and he is a Math genius!  Awesome job Sheriff Andrew!
This is Sheriff Clara.  She is incredible at leading our class down the hall or running special errands.  Sheriff Clara loves the color aqua and loves eating chicken.  Her favorite subject happens to be reading and she also loves drawing.  She is amazing at producing interesting artwork.  I am so proud of her!


Howdy Sheriff David!  David is very responsible and did a wonderful job completing all that was required of him during his week of being Sharp Sheriff.  His favorite color is green and he loves eating pizza.  Playing football is his favorite activity and Math is his favorite subject.  Sheriff David also happens to be an excellent actor!  I am so proud to be his teacher!

Dr. Don Roberts' Birthday

Today was such a special event! We had a birthday parade and were able to wave to Dr. Roberts and present him with a birthday card!  Happy Birthday Dr. Roberts!!!

Our Field Trip

Rock'n Roll Cinderlla was a blast!  We so enjoyed the play and the picnic!  The Arkansas Children's Theater always delivers excellent performances.  Thanks to all the parents that were able to attend the picnic.  My mom was even in attendence!  Enjoy the pictures!

Sharp Sheriff of the Week

This is Carson and he is Sharp Sheriff  this week!  Carson is talented in so many areas!  His favorite subject is art and his color of choice is red.  He really enjoys playing sardines!  (he says that it is sort of like hide and seek) And if he was given a choice of any snack in the world, he would choose nachos.  Carson is an excellent leader and I am so proud of him!!!!

Sharp Sheriff of the Week

Can you say, "howdy Carter!?"  Carter was Sharp Sheriff this week and he was amazing!  He loves football and playing outside with his brothers.  He is a whiz at math and loves the color blue.  Carter's favorite treat is a donut!  He did inform me that it was ok to have them every now and then but not every single day.  I am so proud of Carter!

Meet Betty!  She is was such an awesome sharp sheriff last week!  I really depended on her to carry the lunch cart, run errands, and call everyone to carpet!  She was so incredible when she led our class down the hall!  Way to go Betty!

Sharp Sheriff Last Week

Meet Joshua!  This sheriff was so awesome and did a wonderful job!  He loves the color red and playing "Mario" video games.  He is also fascinated with sharks.  His favorite subject happens to be Math and he is really good at figuring out tough word problems.  I am so proud of him!

Math and Literacy Carnival

Last night was a load of fun for Robert's.  We enjoyed some carnival fun while practicing some math and literacy skills.  The whole evening was a blast!  I even had a chance to find some of my little sheriffs!


Check out the festive decor that some awesome moms were able to provide!  Thanks for the hard work, it looked amazing Lora and Chrissy.  Sarah thanks for bringing some beautiful mums to brighten the flex space.  You guys are so incredible!  Thanks again!










I must exclaim that Bingo with this group of second grade teachers is a blast!  I couldn't work with a better team!

Sharp Sheriffs Enjoying Some R&R!




We found a few extra minutes to enjoy some relaxing playtime last Friday!  The sheriffs had worked so hard and deserved a little reward for their efforts.  They are such an awesome class!
